you know how important self-care is to me on my own personal body positive journey. When you spend time on caring for yourself, you get to know your body and appreciate all that it does for you. Being in tune with what makes you feel better about yourself and doing it often, propels your body positive journey in a forward direct

So, here are some ideas to inspire your own self-care routine if you’re not quite sure where to start:

Watch a TedX talk and be inspired.

Drink lots of water

.Create a new morning routine (perhaps with some meditation, prayer, wake-up yoga routine, coffee on the deck).

Cleanup your social media feeds.Stretch all your muscles

.Do something creative.Try something new

.Cook a healthy meal.Do one thing you’ve been putting off (you’ll feel so much better after getting it done).Define what gives you stress and think about ways to reduce or remove it completely.Spend time on grooming yourself (haircut, manicure, pedicure, bubble bath).Make a gratitude list.Get rid of three things you don’t use.Create a new evening routine (a soothing cup of tea, evening yoga, meditation, prayer, read a book, turn off the devices including the TV).Watch a documentary.Go for a walk.Write down who needs forgiveness in your life and let go of the anger and negativity that’s holding you back from being happy.Have a social media free day.Write yourself a love letter.Declutter a space in your house.Say positive affirmations.Define some short term goals.
